I'll get roped into this one.
Tiger is going to win the PGA Championship!
Hey, what happened with that one event that was in Rochester?

That's... that's this. That's what we're talking about. That's the topic of the thread.

It's THIS WEEKEND. Are you being dense intentionally, to try to get more of Paul's friends to join the BBS?

Alright, just for fun, I'll get a little roped in.
Tiger tees off in 8 hours. He's won five times this year, way more than anyone else, and more than the vast majority of these idiots has won or will win in their entire career.
His irons are lasers, lately.
His putting was otherworldly last week.
The first guy to tee off is named "Rob Labritz". I'ma count him out, so now he only has to beat 154 other guys.
Le'ts go bitches.

By the way, for those of you wondering what's my deal with Tiger, yes I'm a fan, but I'm more a fan of common sense. Talk radio is full now of conversations about "if Tiger retired right now, would he be the best of all time?"
It makes for good (and by that, I mean, horrible) radio, with callers calling in, giving their TAKES, and TV talking heads can sit around getting paid to say, "wellll, but Jack..."
Well, but Jack.
I won't bore you with it right now, but the correct answer to this question, whether you like the guy personally or not, is SO blatantly obvious that only one real answer is possible. If Tiger does happen to close out his career without 19 majors (which is the only way this will still ever be a conversation), I will come back here, show you statistics that will break your fucking brain, and make you wonder how it was even -- how they ever had the balls to even make it a discussion.
Let's just hang here for six or seven more years, and hopefully I won't have to do that. But I'm ready.
(Spoiler: it's not even remotely close. BUT JACK--
-- not even close.)

No.

Yes. But back then, majors were the only time the top 50 would play against each other. Now we have the Players, and several World Golf Championships that everyone shows up for. (Tiger's win rate in the WGCs is beyond astonishing.)
