Yes. The reward for creating a thread that people enjoying posting in is to have it locked.

Meanwhile, the Starcraft II forum lives on.

The Thunder 2013/2014 thread will be at the Gas Chamber.

Yup... Its essentially a right of passage at JC for a relevant, long running thread to be moved to Best Of exactly when your ready to post to it.

But Jonsey, this has happened to myself twice, once with an Adventurer's Guild thread and then a SCII base one. Would you mind maybe only moving threads to Best Of at least three months after their last post?

Belay that order. This thread was terrible, and the only thing that made it tolerable was my awesome Odin Lloyd joke at the end.

ICJ saw an opportunity to kill the thread with plausible deniability. I salute him for it.

I'm just shocked that there could ever be a "best of" on a message board. Who would ever read that?

BULLSHIT. You were not just about ready to post to them. That Thunder thread was the only time I've ever thrown an active thread in that base.

I want specifics right now. What threads were you just about to post to?

It is an easy way to see if the sense of humor on this place matches with prospective new posters.

But we get one new poster every 2 years so if it is working, it does more harm than good.
