So we should feel sorry only for him and forget about the other inmates who don't get anything decent to eat.

Right.

Looks that way to me. The article tries to make me feel sorry for him and that he shouldn't be in prison. Otherwise it would stick to the facts rather than playing the crying wife card. Guess what? Many people have wives, and they tend to cry too if their husbands go to prison.

That was the first paragraph. Did you read any further? There were many "facts" being stuck to.

I did. I was just commenting on the crying wife number at the beginning. It's kind of cheap, imo. Don't you think so too?

Sure? Look, I don't care. I want him out of jail so he can start making movies again.

The sad thing is that this didn't happen before Rollerball.

Well, that depends. What movies have they made? If any of them were responsible for the last few Die Hards instead, then starvation is too good for them.

It really IS sad that this didn't happen before Rollerball though. Rollerball effectively ended his career. To have one movie result in the end of your career AND get you sent to prison, that is harsh. Had this happened before that he'd still have a career to come back to when he gets out of prison. Instead he has career of directing infomercials to come back to.

I haven't read the article yet, but I assume he got sent to prison for Rollerball? And the reason his wife is crying is because she saw Die Hard 5?

Jesus. Having read the article, every single person involved in the prosecution deserves to get fired and/or actually get the lead in Die Hard 5.

Was anyone else hoping that at the end of the story, Bruce Willis was going to take his shoes off, storm in and break him out?

Directing is for the young. All old directors should go to prison before they completely lose it.

If you think prison is bad, look where Lloyd Kaufman ("The Toxic Avenger") ended up:

There is nothing I hate more than people who pretend to play video games by holding a controller and shaking their hands all about like a blithering idiot.

Don't go over to Robb's house!

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. I DO hate something more than that. Laughing babies.
