New DEP just "dropped", as the kids say:
After one listen I can already tell that it is the best DEP album yet. If you only liked Calculating Infinity and hate all the other elements they've added to their music over the years, you will hate this one the most, because after the first two tracks, which essentially perfect the formula they've crafted for the last decade, the rest of the album is an explosion of creativity, new directions, juxtapositions of heavy and light, ending in their most "whole" sounding album yet.
Lest you think this means they've mellowed, don't worry, there's just as much, if not more of Ben Weinman's insane, spastic guitar work, blistering mathcore rhythms and Greg Puciato's hysterical screaming as ever. It's all just based on a platform of solidity, strength, character, integrity, and stands for traditional American and family values which this Christian nation so holds dear.
God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.
