The Bhut Jolokia is so 2007.
The new hottest chile is the Moruga Scorpion, weighing in at a hefty average of 1.2 million scoville units! For those counting at home, a jalapeño generally clocks in at -- whoa, this Macbook auto-corrected and put the little wavy thing in "jalapeño". Nice -- around 5,000 scovilles, which would put the Scorpion at... what, 240 times hotter than a jalapeño?
Nice.

Heat aside, how's the flavor of the new kid chile in town. If it tastes like stringy pulp then it's not worth melting one's tongue.
Good heat and good flavor, now that's a good chile.
My new rap name from now on will be Kid Chile (pronounced Kid Chill-Lay)

I'm told it's very fruity and delicious, until you're brain is wrecked by the Scovilles...

Alright, I bought the bottle of hot sauce from Amazon, where the shipping was less outrageous.
WILL GET BACK TO YOU ON THIS TOPIC.

Sauce has arrived. It is a bright orange-ish red. Its ingredients are basically moruga scorpions, vinegar, lemon juice, couple other veggies, I forget.
Taste is very much like a fresh habanero sauce.
Heat is very much like an EXTREME fresh habanero sauce. I dunno how you tell the difference between habanero sauces, jolokia sauces, scorpion sauces. They are all EXTREMELY HOT. I took a half teaspoon at the beginning of the meal and by the end it was still imparting searing heat to every bite.
More of a gimmick, and you can get similar flavors with sauces a third of the price, but... yeah... it's hot, yo.
Very, very, very hot.
