By the way, it wasn't my mother's house. We were renting it, and yes, my mother was living there, but I was the one who signed the lease.

Also, I did not break it, it simply had a dent on the side, the computer worked fine after I reseated the memory chips which had loosened from the drop. The computer did not require servicing and no parts were broken.

That BBS was a lot of fun. To this day, I think it is the finest set of posts ever, on any BBS. It died before it had a period that wasn't a golden age.
