[MINISCULE REVIEW] IRON MAN TWO

The first 2/3ds are great, and just as entertaining as the first one. Everyone involved is talented, the writing is snappy, and it's just fun to watch. Plus, Johansson in those tight black outfits? Holy Christ.
But then... it seems like they had this great actor to be the bad guy, and the movie is all build-up to what you're figuring is going to be a titanic showdown between The Iron Man and The Wrestler, and then...
(MILD SPOILERS, I GUESS, BUT WHO CARES)
...and then, really not much of anything. Rourke sits there typing on a laptop, a bunch of robots explode, and then there's a really anticlimactic, soulless fight between the good Iron Mans and the bad one. It features men in suits punching other men in suits.
And then that's it. And you're like, all that, for that?
So, yeah. I mean. Good times, up until you realize there was no point to any of it, unless "exploding robots" is something you find endlessly satisfying.
