Haha, you know what, I think this is why sports reporters are so terrible. (I am not saying that the reporter in that video is terrible. He's fine. I am - lemme break out of these cuffs!)
We can all agree that sports writers and sports reporters are terrible.
We can all agree that the conversations I have had with many of you are by far... by FAR more insightful and entertaining than the average column shat into existence by a professional sports writer. Pinner and my brother would easily win Nobel Prizes in sportswriting if they got into the field.
So why do so many intelligent people not bother with it? It should be an easy life, right? Well, it's at least partly because of the fucking pricks you have to cover.
I'm all for comporting yourself at the workplace, but I think it would have been perfectly acceptable for the reporter there to attack that shithead. With a mace. Not a can of mace. But an actual mace. That would have been ok.
ARE YOU AN EXPERT? ARE YOU AN EXPERT??!
I saw Dany Heatley miss a wide open net for the Sharks last night. I usually played goalie but I loved playing forward, I was just bad at it. Oh, and most of this was floor hockey. You *pray* for a shot like that. Goalie on his ass, nobody around you, shoot the thing in and knock off the Gatorade bottle. Instead, he shot it about as straight as he can drive.
