Red Dwarf Season 7

Okay, Red Dwarf is my favorite television show. I know, to Britons, this is like saying that The Simpsons is your favorite TV show. I don't care/mind.
My brother got me season 7 on DVD, and as I watch episodes, I am going to put a little commentary on them in this thread, because God knows I can't think of much else to discuss.
I am also watching them out of order.
DUCT SOUP
I watched this without the laugh track, and with the "extended version" turned on. But this -- this confused me! Didn't they shoot this thing IN FRONT of a "live, studio, audience"? I assume not. I had no idea. The actors put pauses in where people would laugh, and it's like - okay, I thought if it ever came to acting in a sit com, I could do it, because how difficult can it really be? But Jesus, maybe there is more to it than I thought if you don't have instant feedback.
I put this episode on first, because I remembered it having sweet character moments between the crew. And it still holds up. Cat talking to Lister about how Lister got claustrophobia is still really, really funny, years later. (But then again, it's not like I've widened my horizons with a lot of more-sophisticated comedy in the meantime.) And the gal that plays Kristine Kochanski is still one of the ten hottest girls I've ever seen in my life, so I can never take criticism of the job she did from other Red Dwarf fans seriously. This makes me UNQUALIFIED to talk about this episode, but baby, I'm UNQUALIFIED for a lot of things.
*** out of *****
(Meaning, it would be six thousand stars out of five compared to almost every other TV show out there. I'm rating it against other Red Dwarf episodes.)
