THURSDAY, AUGUST 21, 2008 is JC Defcon Game Nite. Gaming will begin at precisely 9:00 PM Pacific time, midnight Eastern time.

To play, all but ONE participant must own a copy of DEFCON, which you can purchase on Steam, or at http://www.introversion.co.uk/defcon. One DEMO user per game is theoretically allowed, but if you know for sure you are going to be that person, let us know here, so no other cheapskate freeloading douchenuts get the same idea.

I will be hosting the game. When you get online, look for a server called "ThereWillBeNukes". That's me. JOIN UP.

I don't know if I can password protect that shit, but if I can, the password will be "drainage".

I am down. I don't currently own the game. I am willing to buy it if someone else joins up and doesn't own it, as long as that person is not sko douchebag.

I own it, and I thought you meant "down" as in depressed.

Defcon is $14.99 through Steam, which I think is five cheaper than Introversion's site?

I have about a 65% chance of being down.

I would also like to say I can't wait to fucking nuke everything Pinner has ever cared about* for having the unmitigated audacity to somehow insinuate that I.... I! am the reason these game-nights fail.



* In other words, Pinback has to play the nuclear weapons-owning country of Distilleria.
