I don't even know where to begin.
By the way, the fact that Daryl Hall and John Oates are somehow not in the rock n' roll hall of fame is a fucking travesty. But considering how there is no New Orleans Saint or Toronto Blue Jay in their respective halls of fame, I'm not exactly surprised. I wonder what it is like to have someone you follow inducted into a hall of fame.

For real? You think Porn 'Stache and The Hair belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? G.E. Smith, maybe...

If you use the argument that goes, "look at who else is in there," sure.
I mean, the baseball hall of fame should have like 15 guys in it, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Greg Maddux, etc.
The football hall of fame should have Joe Montana, Jim Brown and Alan Page.
And music should be like the Beatles and Clapton and little else. But HoFs aren't like that. Going down the list, I will argue that Hall and Oates was equal to, or simply better, than the following inductees:
Ike & Tina Filippe J. Suckmonger
Rod Stewart
Janis Joplin
Gladys Knight & The Pips
Jefferson Airplane
The Bee Gees
Billy Joel
Bonnie Rait (Jesus Christ)
Steely Dan
Ritchie Valens
The Sex Pistols
Jackson Browne
The Pretenders
Blondie for Christ's Sake
R.E.M.
and honestly, to round out the list, Madonna. I defy anyone who wasn't a teenage girl in the 80s to tell me that Madonna made better music than Hall & Oates. But she was a big slut, so of course she gets in. Good for her, sluts everywhere can take a bow.
Once again - tell me that the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame is an elite and compact museum dedicated to some of the greatest music ever made and I'm with you, no H&O. Put in Steely Dan and fucking Jackson Browne and not Daryl Hall and it's as worthless as every other hall of fame.

I had a boss named Filippe J. Suckmonger?
Why can't I remember this?
(Because you've had more jobs than most people have had socks?) (EDIT: And you've drank more bottles of rum than most people have had socks?)
Oh.
