Keza leaves me Countdown

Five Weeks

So Keza is going to Germany for 3 months, then Japan for 9 months, then Germany for another 3 months.

This is over a year being Kezaless, after 5 years together, courtesy of RobB.

Whilst in Japan she will be writing a weekly Famitsu round-up on Eurogamer.net , and she has a monthly article on IGN. She'll also be writing most of the games' section of The Observer, part of the Guardian magazine. She'll have lots to do.

This is what I am going to do:

;__;

This thread is for you good friends to keep me pumped to do the dozens of things I want to do in my year alone. Kindly prompt me if I am not showing promise in any of these vital areas, which will keep my mind off the crippling mysery of my lonesomeness:

Magicianing (I must have atleast 1 gig)
Brains (I must read at least one tome on neurologica, and one psychology)
Fencing (I must atleast finish the 9 week training program offered by the Royal Edinburgh Fencing Society)
Films (I must have atleast one acting gig) TICK!
Stand-Up (I must have atleast 1 gig, but as I have never tried before it is allowed to be an open mike deal so go easy)
Writing I must write something funny.

So! I think that each denizen should take it upon themselves to keep me pumped in one area. You may also suggest anything you feel should be on this list, but not "drinking". Perhaps something creative during the Festival!

Kindly sign up for what your choice of Lex Pumper topic in this thread! Updates will be posted, with pictures as proof for the completion of each topic I am succesfully PUMPED in.

What the --?! Did she join an Axis Powers re-enactment society?

Oh! Well, as always, if she needs a spicy quote about something, she need only e-mail me. Which lately has been quite a chore, as the DNS for zombieworld.com has been problematic. (It's back up now, though.)

Haha, what did I do now?

GOD if we got you back to this BBS regularly, it would be the greatest thing ever.

Does "acting in a text game" count as part of "films"? Because I can cron job you up if that is the case! But that's all good stuff there. If Dayna went to Japan, then Germany and then Japan again I wouldn't have such goals - my goal would be "vacuum." Or "check distemper shots."

The next twelve months also sound like it should involve a trip to the United States for you OR SOMETHING.

I was all "Oh crikey this lass has a thing for me and she is really cute and we've been flirting for a month but it turns out she is 14 so I am not going to go on a date with her."

And you were all "What the fuck dude that's really rude you gotta take her out a date doesn't mean you gotta spin her on your fist."

And I was all like :shock: then :oops: and then I had a date and then it was 5 years later and SHE WENT TO JAPAN ;__;

This reads like she dumped you, which would be way more interesting.

My first thought was that Keza left him the old Access Software game, Countdown, which had me feeling bad for him.

Anyhow, good to hear from you, Lex. Nice list, although I think posting here should count enough for "writing" since hey, I know I'll enjoy that.

The only bad part is the fact that Gametrailers sometimes already has a guy using the can. I tried hooking up another one with some string I had kicking around, but that old thing never seems to work. =(

Along the same lines, I don't think there is any situation so serious that it can't be defused by someone suddenly bringing forth a copy of "Seaman" for the Dreamcast.
