So, the Cubs apparently pissed off... old people... or maybe Koreans... or nobody, it's not really clear from this article... by featuing an old-timey Japanese flag in an ad campaign for new oriental slugger Ty Fukudomi or whatever the fuk his name is.

Bonus: A month after we bombed the Japanese, the Cubs played in their most recent World Series.

You know who should be offended? The thousands of people who GOT NUKED because of the Axis Powers.

Anyway, it's great, because the likely story is that some intern went into Photoshop and did those up, and his bosses were kidding him about not making the obvious blunders, which is over the fact that the guy's last name sounds like "Fuck You Dome". The kid was all proud of himself when he finished that up, and took his best girl out for steaks and then, when he returned into the office the next day...

... bedlam.

I had no idea that pattern was "offensive." I thought there was a member of the X-Men who had that shit for his costume. Sunfire, right? Mike, back me up here. I could SWEAR that Sunfire's costume was basically him wrapping that flag around him, and then a mask shaped like plastic vomit.
