Hold on, I need to get some cheese.

Okay I'm back, sorry. I am here to break down the upcoming conference championship games! I am a long time football FAN-atic, and not a week goes by where I don't put together a big buffet of snacks and delicious hors dourves in my home for the other FAN-atics in my neighborhood! From blintzes to hot wings to my famous Flopsweat Chili Cheese Fries, when you're in my neck of the woods, and you hear "NFL", you think great, yummy, cheesy snacks and dinners!

Now let's get to this weeks exciting matchups.

Matchup 1: New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers

What an exciting matchup of famed veteran quarterbacks. Brett Farve is of course a legend, and Eli Manning is rapidly ascending the ranks to join his famous quarterbacking brothers, Payton and Archie. Though they are both strong teams, I really am just rooting for everyone to go out there and give it there all, and have a great time!

For this game I will be serving swiss baked potatoes, which are potatoes sliced thin and then baked in layers and layers of gooey metled gruyere and cream sauce. Of course no cheesy potato dish would be complete without a big plate of fried scallops wrapped in bacon! Mmm!

Matchup 2: New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts

Definitely what every NFL fan has been looking forward to all year, the Colts get another shot at their archrival Patriots! These are two teams at the top of their games with absolutely no weaknesses on either time. That can only mean that everyone is going to definitely be trying their best and having a wonderful day of top-notch football!

For this game I am pulling out all the stops and bringing out the "big guns", beer-battered fish fillets with a drizzle of hollandaise sauce, and of course Flopsweat Burgers, stuffed with cheddar cheese and then topped with two more cheeses, and of course bacon and mayonnaise... Medium-well, medium-rare, it's all good!

That's it. Have a great time watching the games this week, and remember, the "F" in NFL also stands for Food!!

Eat up life!

Are the Colts fighting the Patriots in the tunnel after the game? If so, what should I be eating when I watch that donnybrook?

Good gracious, I hope that doesn't happen! I think this week should be all about fair, good-natured competition at the highest levels! I think after the seasons these teams had they will be totally focused on giving 110%, keeping a friendly attitude, and having fun!

Have a sweet tooth? For a halftime treat, try a Flopsweat peanut butter log! Stick a popsicle stick into a jar of peanut butter, then lightly flour and drench in an eggwash, then batter with cornmeal, and deep fry for just a few minutes until golden brown! Drizzle some honey and melted butter over top for an even tastier treat, and you can also add chocolate sprinkles right after frying!

Will one of them be able to do it retroactively? And, if so, may I substitute my game meal of oatmeal, raisins and NyQuil to one of bacon-wrapped oatmeal, raisins, brown sugar, and NyQuil?
