I don't like those noise hardcore/grind bands, but, if you like DILLINGER Escape Plan, you'd love Pig Destroyer. They were good live. Also, maybe, Cattle Decapitation? Some bands in the same vein, well thought of. Also Impaled! And maybe some Vehemence.

The other two I have never heard of, although the third band with the Tony Danza reference someone posted about on my metal group, and I thought they were kidding. They seemed to have good things to say. Do you like grindcore now? I don't know you anymore.

Try some Watchmaker or newer Napalm Death. Napalm Death goes back a long way, although you'll never find a fan of their whole discography, because they went from punk to death to grind. They're still actually pretty good, though, if you're into that shit, and their albums are at least easy to find. A good live show, depending on which decade of music they're playing that night.

I'd go with Impaled, pig Destroyer, or vehemence. I'll try to send you some mp3s, but my cat is biting my knuckles because he hates it when I type.

These bands (the ones you hadn't heard of) seem to be described as "mathcore", meaning highly technical, whacked out time signatures, all over the place wanking.

I think I like that.

Of the three death albums I purchased, I think I would rank them thusly:

1. Krisiun.
2. Aborted.
3. Suffocation.

But all very close(*). RAWWWWK!!! \m/ \m/ \m/

(*) This may or may not be me trying to say that it's hard to tell the difference at this point. Blastbeats, yelling, crazy atonal riffing, wash rinse repeat.

Mathcore? (I think you misspelled technical death).

Incision
Death
Meshuggah (sp?)

There's one more I like who I can't remember the name of. I like Incision the best, Death is the band that started the whole thing, and, every frikken December or whenever it was, someone posts a message about the creative guy's (Chuck Schuldinger's) death from cancer 5 or so years ago. I am not making fun, I actually have an older album (Scream Bloody Gore) (Which Robb bought me without ever having listened to it or having heard it since) where they were more thrashy than technical death, but they practically invented technical (math) metal genre, and are revered. But not maybe as deathy as you would like.

What's white, about ten pounds, and won't get plucked THIS Christmas either?

Freddy Mercury's guitar.

Yet again.
