What makes this the best song in the whole world, Bond?

I'm assuming you meant Goodbye Sober Day by Mr. Bungle, because then what you said makes sense.

Mostly the lyrics, frankly. But the drumming is good too, it's in a somewhat uncommon time signature and the riff, though ludicrously easy, is still quite, what is the word, "kickin'." Also you can actually hear the bass guitar, which is unusual in its own right.

Public Enemy must be thrilled about this. Hope Chuck D has good lawyers. Why don't Porcupine trio or whatever dumb name they call themselves release their next album under the title= The Marshal Mathers LP

The song wasn't bad, I kinda liked it, just not my thing.

Today is the day where I sit and listen to all the songs I have downloaded because someone I know recommends them. So far, Lysander has 1 point, but, with only 1 entry, may be soon passed. My boss is now at -11, because Pavement is one of the worst bands I have ever heard. Whoever it was over on Caltrops who reminded me that Fugazi did write more than the 1 song I know has not been tallied yet.

It wouldn't matter, I only ever posted twice under that name. Although I'd post more if I could ever remember to go there more than once a month.

Fugazi didn't really start me up, either. Guess Lysander is still in the lead.

Up next, Negativland, courtesy of Jason Scott, who, now that I wrote that, will see what I think of his favorite band when I listen as he has a Google alert on his name.

So, while these songs are downloading, what am I going to like about Negativland?

Currently listening to Halou, a band some guy with some blog somewhere likes, and the chick was hot, so there you go. I like Halou, so this person is now in the lead with 2 album's worth of points. Halou is gothy/ambient stuff with some d&b style beats occasionally, sorta like Portishead back in the day, but maybe not as angry, and they do things with fire live.

I have a Negativland t-shirt that says KILL BONO. I'm sure you know their history with U2. Anyway, it's ironical because I like U2. Yeah, I know. Fuck you.

What is their history with U2?

I used to sort of dislike U2, but I don't feel passion about any kind of music any more, good or bad. I walk through a grayscale universe and everything sounds like oatmeal and D sharp.

I do not! I have only ever heard OF the band, I know absolutely nothing about them, or U2.

That may have been one of the worst bands to ever play on this computer.

This song does not seem to exist. Or does my machine have a whine filter?

In the early 90s, Negativland put out an album entitled U2, but they made the album title the size of the whole cover and their name very small. So, many would think it was the new U2 album. U2 and their label filed actions, etc, long story short, the album got pulled and Negativland's label SST responded by making "KILL BONO" tshirts.

Yeah, I read about it at Wikipedia. I like when the 2 guys from Negativland interviewed The Edge, and he didn't know it was them.
