An apology to Neuro Scientist, Dr. Marc Madou for the questions asked of him during and after his lecture this past week.

After the lecture -

Questioner: "I like, remember this Japanese doctor who proved that the human mind! changes patterns of frost crystals. Is that, like true?"

Madou: "Ah... I'd need to see his research. Sounds interesting though"

-----

Questioner: "You envision an interface with the human brain through electricty? Through maybe a connector in the back of the neck?"

Madou: "That'd be an instrusive type of interface" ::Looks over to the left, another doctor is waving him over. Scotch and coffee are on the table::

Questioner: "But you see it coming soon? Some sort of new interface?"

Madou: "Oh... Yes. Yes. Of course. Very soon"

During the Lecture -

Questioner: "Would you advise a kind of diet for the healthy reformation of brain matter?"

Madou: "Err... The brain is a processor of protein ...."

Questioner: "Because I've read that water and beans can provide the best balance for a healthy mind, especially for children"

Madou: "I'd need to read the paper"

My old boss went on about the Ice Crystal thing. I, too, would like to see that research, but, based on the other things she would go on about, I don't hold out much hope.

A Japanese doc stuck water sandwiched between panes of glass in a freezer, then had people stand outside the freezer and "think certain thoughts."

Then he claimed that the patterns created in the ice were caused by the thoughts of those standing outside.

A properly needless bit of trivia.
