"Evelyn was now taller than me. Which means we have to fight, I thought--then realized that was dumb. It was still true, but it was dumb, and so had to be consigned to that huge warehouse for dumb, true, best-forgotten things."
This is a real great book. It basically details his young loser days painfully. He's intelligent, funny, and writes way over my head. However, It did not impact my enjoyment of the book at all. He also writes some really great book reviews for exile.ru.

I take it this is non-fiction?

Yeah, it basically details his youth. If you like his style of reviewing on exile.ru, I specifically suggest How I Harrassed The Working Class and A Million Pieces Of Shit, then you'll like this book. There's a book review of it up on the exile, but it reads more like a summation.
