I have a question for any flower entusiasts on this here forum.

So, after a long winter of pure ugliness, my orchid has now suddently popped open today and I am feeling the love of spring in my loins.

Upon putting a loin cloth on my sack of joy, I am wondering if this is about the time that orchids pop? Is it normal for them to have a dormant winter and then suddenly burst open like a fresh pubic hair during puberty?

If so, I feel a long prosperous summer coming on. Take me to the beach in a speedo and let me show of my new man hood.

I will post pics soon of my nice little bloom I have.

As for the man hood, I will need to get a landing strip shave and then feel comfortable to post that.

Yes, although if you bought one from the southern hemisphere, or one that goes dormant in a different season than winter, or if you bought one of the easy hybrids that bloom 3 times a year, it could vary. It is more like what grows best here, that will do well for people, are the types that have a rest period in the winter, so that is what is sold most often. But if you have a multiple year bloomer, it will tend to go grow, flower, rest, or else grow, rest, flower.

Weren't you supposed to send me a picture or the name of this one like a year ago?

Ok, sorry for the delay. My orchid is very shy and just now peeked out of it's hole for the first time today. It is kind of like a turtle peeking only not brown.

Have a look:

Miss Rich,

I purchased some Orchid food tonight and was wondering if you have any experience with such a product?

If you put this stuff on your chest, will it promote hair growth?

I am scared....
