Front Page Sports: Football Pro 98

This thread is mainly for reference. No need for discussion. I just want a more permanent record of things because it gets tougher each year to install the thing.

This installation program will reinstall the missing or corrupt Windows XP system files command.com, autoexec.nt and config.nt. The absence or corruption of one or more of these files causes a "16 Bit Subsystem" error.

XP_Fix.EXE by TRF Systems, Inc.

(Downloaded the program locally, too.)

The above deals with the "Win 16 subsystem" problem that won't let it install from the CD.

The patch is called fb98108.exe

Note to self: it "just worked" on the programming computer. Same fucking operating system installed on both, of course! Whatever. Sierra needs to distribute the source code to this thing, it's fucking sickening that they haven't done it yet.
