I made a random number generator in Hugo and "1" was the first thing to come up. Sorry, Bruce. :(

So now you get to pick who you want the second Thing to be, before the game starts (presuming Roody is the 13th person to join). That will give us two The Things.

(Also, to everyone who ends up here, I will probably make this base public after the game, so don't say anything you wouldn't want everyone to hear. It's for reasons like this that my brother cannot play.)

So now Bruce and I sit tight until the testing is over and then pick someone else, right? Or do we pick one person apiece? Actually, that would end the game in three days or so.. Can we confer on who to Thing-a -majig next? The way I see it, we pick someone who tested negative today. The old double jeopardy gambit.

In that TSR game I linked to yesterday the alien (named Zebu-Lon) attached some alien device to the back of the victim's neck, sort of walked up to them and Wack! I guess.

hey, we, as things, don't have to Bite anyone (like them werewolves) do we? that would leave a bad taste in my mouth..

As far as everyone else knows you are human. So you vote right along with the rest of them and don't let on that you are not. Strategy can come from trying to convince the humans to waste a test on each other. They'll go right along saying, "Hmm, Aardvark thinks we should test Johnny, well, I agree." And boom, wasted test!


Draal kicked things off by picking Pinback, so throwing in with him helps build a majority on a wasted test.

That was an excellent play, Vark. It looks like Johnny has some momentum. Well done!

Holy shit, Draal is on the pro-Aardvark BANDWAGON. I have never seen the humans get one of the two original Things right, this is surely unheard of.

The Milker is hot on your ass as well. At the end of the game I hope he will agree that I absolutely did not try to throw him on your trail or off it (he works next to me). On the other hand, noting this now makes for a better post-mortem thread at the end of things, to see if you two manage to accusations flying at someone else.

OK, I am going to get either Jack or my brother to replace Johnny. It requires my brother not being a RAGING ASSHOLE, but I think the DLP thread calmed him down a little. He was able to blow off some steam.

There was a text message that said Johnny voted for Bruce, it came from Gerrit this morning. I just didn't know if you could fake a post from Johnny saying that.

I hopped on the gsdgsd bandwagon but it looks like I may be pulling into DiscoveredThingville Station soon.

Yeah. Nobody is considering Johnny, CO and Milker because they are hardly posting (though CO gave us a reason why and we expected this). That essentially make it a 2 Thing 8 Human game to start, which is way-skewed in favor of the humans, I would think.

I just asked my brother to take over for Johnny. God help us all. He reads this place every night, so he at least visits.
