The Great Orange One is now part of ESPN's Monday Night crew.
This is the greatest thing to happen to television since Friends was cancelled. I will now watch MNF religiously.
Satchmo will not put up with all of the fawning and saccharin bullcrap which so often mucks up these broadcasts. He will not tolerate any crap!
And he will not do it for the children!
Good job, ESPN. Always liked you guys.

I think it's great as well. The morning slobs on the radio were against it. WTF? Who doesn't like Kornheiser?
Here's the other thing. The drive-in knobs were also PRAISING Theismann. I was sick yesterday. I awoke today to find myself in a subtley changed world where TK is not a boon and JT is not a goon.
And where I can't rhyme very well.
9-24-06!! You comin' to the SUPERDOME with me, Ben!?!?

Perhaps there is something I am missing. What does the MNCrew on ESPN have to do with MNF on ABC? Do they talk about the game as it happens? Do the commercial breaks? Halftime commentary? I was never sure what ESPN did during important non-ESPN game events.

Pfff. Broads. Ain't they cute when they try to talk sports?
MNF is no longer on ABC as of next year. Next year, it will be on ESPN.

Well, that would explain it. Robb probably slipped that news in somewhere between what Ricky Jackson ate for dinner last night and who is most recently in lockup for beating their spouse.
Oh wait, he didn't.

I am enjoying the fact that you know who Rickey Jackson is so much that I'm not even bugged by the missing "e" in his name. But literally three out of every four Saints fans on Saintsreport.com began messing it up when Ricky Williams joined the team. Not only did he whine his way out of New Orleans, but he negatively affected the spelling of the best player in franchise history while doing so.
Nobody has beat their spouse lately, although Wayne Gretzky's wife is involved with an international gambling rig. When asked for a comment on this, Gretzy said, "You'll have to ask her." Is that close enough?

I put "Ricky Jackson" into google and, lo, came up with pages on him. One of which was saying how you can get a legit "Ricky Jackson" autograph, which, if it's the same guy, is hilarious. Thinking back, maybe there's another famous one.

Maybe he named one of his 11 kids "Ricky."

I want Dennis Miller back on MNF. He dint know much about football but it rounded out the commentators nicely.
I heard that Madden could NOT 'understand' Miller and got him booted off.

I couldn't understand the appeal of Madden 2005 and John Madden had me FIRED.
::shakes fist
That's all I did ultimately, by the way. I shaked my fist at the situation, from a safe distance.

Dennis Miller is a pretentious asshole.
Obviously.
