Maybe a change in scenery would do me good.
Also, it's things like this which keep me away from this BBS. Whether that's a negative or a positive, I suppose, depends on who you are.voice of reason wrote:You're hopeless.
Good job offer, though. Shame to turn down a sparkling career opportunity!

What, you gonna be a window washer now?
That was Casual Observer. I'm apparently running two -- count 'em -- two websites where everyone treats everyone else like shit and ha ha ha, isn't that hilarious. CO, if you want to be a complete asshole to everyone and anyone, feel free to do it here. I'm not being sarcastic, you can honestly treat anyone on that website like shit and I wouldn't bat an eyelash. I can't stay sane with both places I go to being the exact same place in content, however. Plus, when you get to be old like I guess I am you'd rather see your utterly mentally stable friend post without a two-week absence when he's left the site forever than not. I know I have turned into everyone's father.pinback wrote:Also, it's things like this which keep me away from this BBS. Hey, I wonder if his problem really is taking advice from a bunch of coffee table educated know it all pieces of shit!voice of reason wrote:When has that EVER helped you? You're hopeless.
I have no problem with anything you wrote, at any point in this thread.Jack Straw wrote:Pinner the squeegee kid!!AArdvark wrote: What, you gonna be a window washer now?
edit: After reading the SysOp's post, I realize that the above comment wasn't as constructive as the posts here need to be.
I didn't realize we had gotten all touchy feely and cognizant of each other's feelings.
But honestly, reality check here: if we treat Ben like the simpering pussy he is with ubercareful kid gloves, we're just facilitating him. That's my take and I stand by it.
He's not gonna get "better" by treating him like a baby. Because as soon as he gets off the computer (if that ever happens), no one in REALLY REAL life is gonna do that for him.
Can somebody diagram this sentence for me?Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:Plus, when you get to be old like I guess I am you'd rather see your utterly mentally stable friend post without a two-week absence when he's left the site forever than not.
No, apparently you've turned into Worm.I know I have turned into everyone's father.
ICJ: Is pissed because he figured funny&intelligent=decent on his other website, when it's really just a bunch of smart funny scumbags.pinback wrote:What the hell are you people talking about?
Okay! A change of scenery would do you good!pinback wrote:Uhh. An unfulfilling job, an ugly city, and disgusting weather?
Dude, if every aspect of your life in Washington sucks, then do yourself a favor and relocate. Life is too short to be miserable 100% of the time.pinback wrote:Uhh. An unfulfilling job, an ugly city, and disgusting weather?
