Dear Netflix Agent,

Poltegeist is one of the worst fucking movies I've ever seen and you should remove it from your rental library. Actually, you should buy up a couple thousand copies of it and only allow troublesome customers to rent it and only it. You could allow them to rent three Poltergeists at a time for $17.95, one Poltergeist at a time for $9.99 or all 2,000 copies for $19.99, who gives a shit, you should hope they are inconvenienced for seeing that they are in NetFlixHell and still trying to rent this dog.

I wish that Craig T. Nelson's character from Action Jackson was the dad in Poltergeist.

It just... I don't know. It was too much like E.T. And it reminded me why I hated Close Encounters. Speilberg didn't direct Poltegeist, but by writing it and producing it he sure made it seem like one of his touchy-feely family flicks.

I just hate the way the man depicts families. They're so LOVING and HAPPY and TOGETHER.

The best scene in Poltegeist was when the corpses came out of the pool.

Hey, just because you come from a dysfunctional family doesn't mean that everybody does.

Seriously, you're criticizing a movie made damn near 25 years ago. It was a good movie for its day, although it may seem tame by modern horror movie standards. And yes, the pool scene was the best....scared the hell out of me when I first saw it (which would have been, oh, maybe 1983 on HBO?).

That clown doll coming out from under the bed... That was way scarier than bodies in the pool. Once Craig jacked up the slezeball developer and screamed "YOU LEFT THE BODIES! YOU MOVED THE GRAVESTONES BUT LEFT THE BODIES!"

I remembered the pool hole and thought "Why dint the backhoe guy say something about the bones and casket parts that he must have seen while digging?'

When the dead things started coming up I was prepared.

The true measure of a horror movie is how good it is once it's not scary anymore.

Poltergeist is still a great movie, even though we've all already seen all the scary parts a hundred times, and they ain't scary anymore.

When you're really hungry, a can of beans tastes great, but only after a truly fine meal do you think back in appreciation. See what I'm saying?
