Seriously?
I was at the premier of Return of the King when the trailer played. The audience went wild with anger! Boos and jeers were shouted for virtually every row. Many tossed popcorn and sugary snacks in disgust. One man was ejected for launching two hotdogs javelin-style at the screen.
Someone mentioned it's a prequel, but how is that possible? If Jim Carrey got the mask in the first movie, a prequel, at best, would be the kid going, "I hope I get a mask someday." So, it's gotta be a sequel! Lemme go haunt up Ebert for some more clues...
