Slick but formulaic; no twists, zero character depth, just a decently attractive fast paced movie with no surprises. And Selma Blair.

I saw it. It was okay, I guess I just don't get the character, or don't care about the character.

Actually, I like it a bit less after
this post. Except for the part about Hellboy chatting with the kid. Loved that scene.
