Here's the question we all want the answer to!

At this point, telling what I know would be more of an act of industrial espionage than just intel, or even gossip, so I'll bow out. Although, I didn't see any of the choices listed in eons, either.

It's been built up so much in Pinback's mind that I do not think he will enjoy it.
The rest of you might, I hope. I think.

I thought all about this. (Well, what I told you -- for anyone who has no idea what this is about, I am conflicted as to the ending.) The last bit was that this is a video game where people can make choices, and I think it best to allow a strength of the medium to come to play in this one and do it up like that.
But I'll grab that 100' network cable tomorrow to finally get us both hooked up with different computers. Another power supply for the one in the living room would be nice, as well, as it is still going "whirr.... whirr... whirr... HHRRRRANNGGGGGG ... whirr... whirr... whirr... HRRRAAAANNNGG ..." It is the Amityville Horror of 230 watt power supplies.

This is what we in the biz call a 'payoff''.
I am always open to more lucrative offers, however.

My other offer was to buy the 100' network cable and choke you to death with it. I don't know if you would think that was a more 'lucrative' offer, but everyone starved for content on this BBS would apparently think so.

Well, at least that way you'd get your game done.

Deus Ex, a mere FPS in some people's (closed) eyes, had three different endings, depending on how you played the game. Why should Jonsey's game be any different?
FWIW, the power supply in my wife's PC does the same damned thing. Very annoying.

Well, not everyone sees all the endings.
Thanks for being in this (to be released) game, Jeff. We gave you shit in the other thread for ruining everything... but you did not ruin Super Jonsey Adventure IV!

Also!
I have done the following games.
Chicks Dig Jerks
Revenger
A Crimson Spring
No Time to Squeal (with Mike Sousa)
Fallacy of Dawn
Just out of curiousity, which two got eliminated here to make the new one SJA4 and not SJA6?

Revenger and NttS, of course.

Why NttS? Because I wrote it with Mike?

Yes.
It is not a PURE Super Jonsey Adventure.

Revenger.... because it, well, sort of sucks, right?
I mean, put on the cruel shoes and give me a drop-kick here.

So you've finally decided to disavow the existence of Saied? I figured Saied and Revenger were out of the que because they were "mini-comp" games.

The best response would be to not write a message to your post, but that might be too meta.
It's... just not good.
(I also ported Hammurabi, but that probably shouldn't count either.)

Revenger also had its own sweatshirt.

Hey, if it were me I'd disavow all knowledge of Revenger too. I mean... No tits, no interest, a guess-the-verb puzzle that makes me want to bash my head against a wall until my brains run out in a squishy mess, more bugs than Chicks Dig Jerks and A Crimson Spring *combined* (percentage-wise), a rather pointless and unexplained plot that ends where it shouldn't end... I mean, good christ. It sucks. SUUUUUUCKS. Haven't played Sade yet, been meaning to. Also been meaning to get back to Falacy of Dawn.

Hey now, ho now. I like to think that all of the Super Jonsey Adventures have something delicious and wonderful to offer the interactive fictioning public. In Revenger, of course, it's the ability to call down the dark and hellish forces of... um... hell upon the heads of academics. In Saied it's the start of America's love affair with the phrase "Pump it up." and the absolute bewildering cruelty of (one of) the titular character(s); the little side-story about the used CD store specifically. It's just a shame you couldn't combine the two and summon Bloody Mary down to Shock and Awe that frosty Muslim bitch with a strap on.

Saied could be a lot worse; but it feels like you're delving your hand into a new system, and are trying things for the first time. I'd also point out that Saied, Deus Ex, and A Crimson Spring, all *Three* of these fantastic Jonsey Advanaras, have multiple endings; just wait 'til the world takes V away in a horrible trainwreck or something, and then write the final Bitter, Angry Guy part. Rock on.

Wait, are you saying you thought Dues Ex was made by Jonsey?
