Sure, I pay for an IPTV service that gives me access to more live channels than I could possibly want. It's great for live sports.

But sometimes I just want mindless drivel on for background noise. Sometimes it'll be news... sometimes financial stuff... sometimes music/concerts...

But tonight? I discovered that David Letterman AND Jim Rome both have their own FAST channels!

Letterman is what I've been waiting for. And it is everything I hoped for. This may become my favorite channel ever.

I have not watched the Jim Rome channel yet. I think he's probably lost some of his shine over the past 15 years, but I look forward to seeing what the programming looks like.

Hell yeah. I used to like old Dave Letterman a lot in the late 80s and early 90s. That Beavis and Butthead skit making fun of the show as soon as they showed Beavis as Paul the musician I fucking lost it I was laughing so hard at like age 15 lol

Channels like this for me are..

- Twilight Zone (while computing on something not making noise)
- Maury (while cooking. just to have a reminder my life isn't so bad and saying "OH!!!!!" along with the audience lol)
- Family Feud (the old shit with the host that kisses every female. We watch this while we eat for whatever reason)

Special mention goes to Comet TV. Works over antennae here and at beach, as well as their free website video player. X-Files every night after 9pm til after midnight. Around that is Grim, Buffy, and Stargate.

I watched two episodes of Alf on Comet, don't know why.

I watched Letterman all day today. It was glorious.

I HATE THAT I CANNOT EDIT MY OWN POSTS.

These episodes are 20+ years old, and I'm still laughing at them. Its amazing how well those old show hold up.

For some reason I was fascinated with Alf as a kid. My mom wouldn't let me watch it because something "better" was on in his time slot and she always remarked "It's stupid."

She was right. Every time I try to revisit this show I get maybe 10 minutes in and have to change it. One channel on Pluto was playing Mad TV a lot then shifted to Alf :/ I've read how messed up the last episode was too in case anyone who watched it back in the day actually CARED about Alf. Alf ate cats and told bad jakes.

Fuck Alf. His game for Sega Master Systems sucks ass as well.
