In a Violent Nature (2024)

This one came recommended from a horror fan friend of mine.
Picture Friday the 13th but from mostly Jason's perspective. LOTS of walking through the woods. No soundtrack, only the sounds of Jasons feet hitting the ground and nature for what seems like too long until he finds a victim.
When this guy finds a victim.. ohhhh man. Some of the most chilling and realistic practical gore effects I've seen in a long time. The whole movie is very empty, droning, and at times quite possibly disturbing once the killing begins again. The mask he later finds totally works too. Strange, creepy, and memorable. What you won't find memorable here is a plot or the acting on the part of the victims.. and it doesn't really matter.
