Right after I voted for "never heard of it" I thought "maybe he meant pike instead of poke." So if that was a typo, I've heard of pike. And puke, I guess.

The only (edible) Poke I ever heard of was from the song Poke Salat Annie. Note, that is the correct vspelling, a lot of people think he's singing "Poke Salad."

Yeah, I had to look it up. In contrast to Aardvark I love fresh seafood of all types, and I do eat sushi including the odder stuff like raw fatty tuna sashimi ($$!!) and chilled octopus.
