What DAY do you need right now?!

I am the second "other" vote and my vote is for a day without covid. I've had a lot of those other days over the past month or two, but I would love to have one day where covid was on hold. A day where I could go to thrift stores and antique malls without my glasses fogging up, a day where I could see strangers smile, a day where I could invite everyone I know to meet me for lunch and a pint at our local Irish pub. No mask drama, no social distancing, and no constant worry. Just a normal, out-and-about covid-free day.

I was hoping the "drama and horseshit" one would cover the Covid and political stuff.

Again, that first "other" was me, and also again I did not explain because you hate hearing my take on things...but...if you are going to twist my arm on the issue then I just need a day where everyone on Jolt Country is kind to each other. I feel like the first attempt at The Spirit of Kindness™ was working out really well until The Happiness Engine had to break it off short with one of his hallmark pissy posts.

I feel "drama and horseshit" could have covered that as well.

Voted drama and horseshit because I took a day off next week just to cut myself off from work and go fishing in the sound from my front yard in the trailer park 4 hours drive away.

There is a certain calm with being buzzed off a few beers staring out into salt water hoping to get a bite. Hell, maybe the surf will pick up and I can catch a wave or 2 as well. Either way, I need a day between now and the official holidays.

I just need a day to myself. I am getting two of them, Saturday and Sunday. My wife is driving around the state visiting her friends.

Your gals do that, fellas? Out here, by about hour 36 of her being on a trip I start to perceive little micro-looks from the pets. Little judgey micro-looks. Little "what did you fuck up this time, dickhead" looks.
