Pathetic.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Benjamin "Pinback" Parrish finally returns... and this is what he's become. Some sort of eternally chipper rah-rah go go good team brain dead guy.

Tsk, tsk.

I expect better. I expect more. Out of all of you. There was a time when Benjamin "Pinback" Parrish would verbally rip somebody's head off if they so much as looked at him wrong on-line. Now? Now? *Just look at the man.*

Where's the vitriol? Where's the little specs of spit that come out from the pure anger and righteousness? Where is it?

I bet the man wouldn't trash *religion* right now. RELIGION, people.

It's truly a sad day.

As for the rest of you.... meh.

It seems that neither Robb nor "Souffle of Pain", whoever he is, appreciate my presence on this BBS any longer.

Perhaps I should find another BBS to hang out at.

I don't have any more time in my life for negativity like this.

Sorry about my little outburst last night, fellas! I forgot to keep it on the positive! But I'm back on track, now that it's Tuesday morning, and we've got a fresh new day ahead of us!

Hey, at lunchtime today, instead of just bringing a burger back to your desk and scarfing it while you surf the net, why not go outside, and take a long walk. Is there a park near where you work? Or some trees? A leisurely stroll through nature can really do wonders for your outlook and your sense of well-being!

And hey, if there are any roses along the way, you know you have to STOP and SMELL them! :^)

You know what I would love for lunch? A tuna fish sandwich. I could have made one before I left for work today, but I was in a hurry.

...

... Oh, keee-rist. Now he's got me doing it. I am going to change the by-line of this site to "The Great E/N Empire" if this keeps up.

Sorry about that, Jonsey! You could make a sandwich the night before, but (especially with tuna) it might be all soggy and icky by the next day. :(

What will you have for lunch now? I am going to have a salad! Is there anything more delicious and refreshing that a nice salad?

I had Arby's. Because I was out anyway, to buy a friend GTA:VC as a thank-you for taking care of my house and one dog while I was in Italy. I also picked up Spirited Away for Amy.

And, you know, the Cheery Pinback has a point. I've been getting up before 7 the last two days and today I got the application for my mortgage refinance done, and I feel pretty good about it. Particularly since it will save me $220,000 in interest over the fifteen years I'm cutting off the mortgage.

Knock it off. If you want to give other people shit who are presently in the right frame of mind for this thing, then so be it. Everyone should be able to defend themselves on here. But this is not normal for Pinback, and I won't have you dropping all this shit on him because you know you can get away with it and escape from the beating you so deserve, you giant pussy.

I had a huge portabella sandwich at Soup Brothers, a place I hadn't been to before but am destined to visit again. Later on in the afternoon, I plan on enjoying the sunshine and going on a long walk.

Now that is what I like to see, Roody! A nice, healthy lunch full of all of nature's goodness, and then a long stroll to enjoy the beauty which surrounds us every day!

I think tonight I shall do so on the beach, and enjoy the fresh Pacific air from one side and marvel at the chaotic wonders of the mountains on the other. I am SO looking forward to it!

By the way, for lunch I had a delicious Greek salad with low-fat citrus vinaigrette!

I've been a little sick, so I decided I deserved a treat. So I had beer and Pringles.

A nice portabella sandwich. Sounds scrumptious, Friend Yogurt.

Today, I leisurely sipped a hot bowl of wonton soup as I sat under the cool, refreshing shade of an old oak tree. This was near my new place of employment. A new restaurant. So, expect some entries from you know who.

Brandtson the Viru---

Sorry, since we're all trying to be "nicer" now, expect some new posts from Brandtson the Overly-Upbeat Waiter.

Chow, friends!

Sounds delightful, Commandant D'avis!

After work tonight, my coworker (Robb) and I went to the local sports bar, where our friend Christina works.

I had a Long Island Ice Tea, a Red Hook, a white Russian, a Baybreeze, and a Bass ale.

Delightful.

It made me realize how much I wished each and every one of you, aw heck, even Lex, lived nearby so we could all go out and "get a few". Some beers, too.

Then I realized Greg does live nearby, but refuses to socialize with us. Then I was sad.

Seconds later I was happy, remembering we're all supposed to be acting "nicer" to one another.

Uh... that was what I was supposed to gain from this thread, wasn't it?

WASN"T IT?!!

I had a huge portable sandwitch at Soup Homies, on the beach. I dallied a little too long at the bar there and when I left everything was tilted sideways. Silly me. I laugh at the thought.

That sounds like a fun, joyous lunch, Aardvark! Nice to hear! Two questions though?

1. What is a "portable sandwich"?

2. There is a place called "Soup Homies"?

Oh wait... I just reviewed this thread, and I think you are just making this up as a play on Roody's words! Well, you sure got me, Aardvark! LOL!

Why, yes, I was making a play upon words there. Nothing like a good chuclke to start the day, eh, what? I shall go and peruse the digi-freighter to see what looks good for the evenings repast now..

Ben "Pinback" Parrish has just used the word "lol". Hold me, I may cry.

Why should any of us be ashamed to laugh? It is one of the most spirit-fulfilling activities any of us can engage in! I revitalizes us, gives us an overwhelming feeling of contentment... I don't understand why anyone would want to "hold it in".

I say, LOL as much as you possibly can!

I don't have a problem with laughing out loud. I *do* have a problem with the use of the word "lol". For "lol", y'see, *isn't a fucking word*. People who use the word "lol", outside of mockery, ingender in me a bitter, vitriolic hatred of the user, because it seems to me that people who use the word "lol" often in everyday conversation are none too inteligent.

I'm sorry if I offended you, James, as that was not my intention. If it reflects poorly on my own intelligence, I suppose I'll have to live with that. But I'd rather be a laughing idiot than a frowning genius!

Quoted for EMPHASIS.

I'm going to quote it a few more times just for the hell of it.

Here! I will quote it in German! Just in case someone reads that better than they do English! Even though this is probably mangled German!!

Blast you, Parrish!!!
