I'm finally expanding my Floyd knowledge, so have been hitting this one hard lately.
Two things are keeping it from entering the HALLOWED ESCHELON of Floyd albums:
1. Two of the six tracks are a Yacht-rock parody (San Tropez) and a dog singing 12-bar blues (Seamus.)
2. Though Echoes is often rated the best Floyd song of all time, I cannot listen to it without hearing that awful, awful Phantom of the Opera tune. Lloyd-Webber ruined music, as we all know, but he also ruined this specific song. You SUCK, Andy. If Spirit could harrass Zeppelin over Stairway, Floyd could have become billionaires suing ALW.
