The Saints will be on their third kicker and punter after the bye. Yay?

"After hauling in Cutler's TD pass, Marshall, who spent the week exchanging barbs with Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter, was about to pull something out of his pants when teammate Brandon Stokley ran over and stopped him from getting a possible personal foul. "

Simmons finally made me laugh.
I remember this past Sunday when Fox's Rich Gannon said, "You can't second-guess Romeo Crennel here." I won't even tell you the context. Just know that, yes, at all times we are allowed to second-guess Romeo Crennel. Even if he's single-handedly disarming three gunmen during a bank robbery as I'm lying on the floor with my hands behind my head.

Career-ending performance by Tony Kornheiser during the MNF game tonight. Normally he does not bug me, but bringing up Brett Favre with 8:32 left - who was not within 1,000 miles of that game tonight - was simply too much. KORNHEISER IS PART OF THE FUCKING PROBLEM.

So, Monte Kiffin is leaving Tampa Bay.

I say this with the utmost respect, as someone who got to see one of the greatest offensive minds in his division (Bill Walsh), followed by one of the greatest defensive minds (Monte Kiffin) after the divisions re-aligned: GOOD! Meaning, Kiffin is the only co-ordinator I can think of that belongs in the hall of fame.

(It goes without saying, that he once coached the Saints' defense, and they let go of him. It goes without saying that, right? Right.)

Anyway, he wants to work with his son, at a college program, and that is awesome.

Finally, the sickest burn on the Saints I've read in the last couple of years is going into the "Thomas and Martha Wayne Watching Zorro" bin. An ANACHRONISM OF BURN!

But I will still call my FF team "Jim Finks Material" this year, and please chastise me if I forget. Which I won't.

Oh yeah, I forgot.

As of today, Rickey Jackson is an ... er...

crap. What a time to draw a blank!
