I sent an email this morning saying, "Yeah, uhh, it doesn't really seem like you're all that into dating right now, so, y'know, maybe let's just bag it, huh?"

BAM. Less than five minutes later, I get a mail all "No no! It's really important to me! Don't think that! Please let's do Monday!"

See? What have I always told you people? You have to let them know who's really calling the shots.

For anyone else looking for bliss in this sometimes vicious and cruel world, I can't urge you enough to follow PInback's advice: "You have to let them know who's really calling the shots." It really does make all the difference.

My best friend's 40th birthday party. Open bar. Dint get poured home until around 1:30 this morn. Tried to post a witty remark here and fell asleep on the computer desk, passed out, really. Woke up an hour later feeling pretty bad.

Oh, you mean Jazzy? Sure, Jazzy. Well, she's doing well, but unfortunately still lives in Maryland, which kinda makes it difficult to have a real close relationship, you know what I mean?

We still keep in touch, though. We average about one email a month.
