If I die in the OR tomorrow, I better win posthumous MVP this year.

Hello, is there any college or university that you know of that has the letters "ish" in order in the college's name?

Yes! Several colleges and universities have "ish" in order in their names. Here are a few examples:

Let me know if you'd like help finding more!

Screw that. People who die are not winners.

I would have to vote for Pinback, only because of a slight technicality. (His kidney does not have an active account on JC.)

If I'd known this was all it took, I woulda gotten on this a lot sooner.

Wait, isn't Pinback's kidney an extension of him?

If he had gotten a transplant, then I would have to accept "Finback MINUS his donated kidney".

The cancer has returned. We're switching off of immunotherapy and just doing whatever they can think of to slow the spread, but I'm fucked, median life expectancy of about three years.

Keep them MVPs comin'!

That's terrible! Is there any second opinion? Are there any kind of scenarios where you beat it?

Sorry Pinner. Hopefully you can get in on some kind of experimental thing that turns out to be positive. Best of luck.

Thanks all. I said I'll do whatever clinical trials they want, poke and prod me with abandon. If Kathy wants a second opinion, I'll go wherever she says. I'm more of a "rip the bandaid off" guy.

Though there is (very) occasionally sadness and fear, usually there isn't, and in no case is there any suffering involved. It will make no sense to you when I say I've never been happier, or it will be misinterpreted as "god, finally this nightmare is gonna end". But there ya go. This is way harder on the people around me, so that is where I need the "positive energies" to go, if you got any.

I'm very sorry to hear this. I hope before that day comes we're all able to get together and play some pinball over a beer.

If you need someone to call you each morning with an uplifting joke or something, I am willing to discuss a 25% discount.

Also, this is terrible.
