The Iron Sheik! He was a famous professional wrestler of the 1980s here in America. His act was that he was a representative wrestler from Iran. In the 1980s we had a few "international" wrestlers. Nikolai Volkoff was the Soviet one, Rowdy Roddy Piper was the Scottish one. I think that Greece might have been spared representation. This is either a good thing since you invented wrestling and therefore it shows respect, or a bad thing because, hey, you guys invented wrestling, you shoulda had one.

'Vark, a few years ago I ran a sub-thread in this thread about a guy up for lethal injection, and whether any of the other six scheduled that year would get the needle first. So we've covered - I've covered - murderers here who were executed. Murderers who only die in prison are also eligible for featured status here. Besides, Kacinski took a guilty plea to avoid the death penalty. He might have qualified then.
