But here's the thing - this summer I am hopefully going to have paying customers for a game I've been working on. It's been nice running a website for 12 angry people, but by selling a text game I am pretty sure I can get that number to twenty, unangered. I'm going to direct them to a base here, because I don't want to make a separate website for people to ask, "How do I seduce the rhino" and so forth.

I'm not going to have their posts be ripped on. I'm just not. I don't believe in banning people from websites, but I will be forced to edit replies and delete posts if that goes on. You know that I don't bear any malice to you personally. But if you, or Worm or my brother or even Vitriola crack on some new posters, I'm going to delete the replies to get the people doing it to stop.

Personally, I'm all for running this place horribly down into a dark pit of random idiots mucking eachother (as has become the case, though it has created a sort of hyper sensitive nature in you I believe, because even using your own definition of content, you've become quick to point out HATE that was actually just a mild discussion).

Well, thanks for letting me know what your big plans for the forum is. It's not that I am hyper-sensitive. It's that this had been going on for YEARS.

You got shit on for months after joining up, but you didn't take it personally and stuck around. Do I wish that everyone was like that? Sure. I am not even being sarcastic. I wish that people wouldn't take getting called a bag of old cunts personally on the web. But people don't.

I can't, in good conscience, let someone give me $4.95 for the direct download of a game and then come here and get insulted because they are the 12th person to ask how to get past the first puzzle. We might as well get that out in the open now, I guess.
