If I start hijacking your threads I would be no better than D.B. Cooper or Commander Offtopic.

I mean, if you want to give me stacks of cash before I disappear out of an airliner, ok, I'll leave the clip intact. Otherwise I am bound by etiquette to remove it.

I thought Portlandia was a show, but I guess it is a sketch show?

I looked at lists of "the best sketches of the last decade" and something from Amy Schumer was there. I don't care for her work but I have an open mind for this project. I clicked on one, one of the supposed "best sketches of the last decade" and it starts with Amy finding some other female comedians in a park. Tina Fey, I think, says, "You're the gal that is always talking about her pussy, right?" And Amy says, "Yes!!!"

If you know something isn't working and is stupid in your material, fix it. Don't point it out. I tried to keep an open mind and I know that the people that make lists for websites are also, by and large, cretins, but I think I can safely close the door on the Amy Schumer show.

The Sinatra Group by Saturday Night Live

I give SNL credit for always having a non cast member, except for cold opens. Sting nails it in this. They all do.

I have never seen a full episode of Mr. Show in my life, only individual skits whilst skipping around Youtube. I saw a list today of "All Mr. Show sketches ranked from best to worst" and my top three are also its top three, and they all better end up on here (one of them already is).

Is it possible Mr. Show was buoyed by its best skits, and thus thought back on more fondly than it would have otherwise been if not for its best work?

I think they are still on Netflix. I shall watch an entire episode and report back.

I cannot believe how brilliant John C. Reilly is. Dramatic roles that can devastate you, and then still finds time to do this.

Ok, mildly smiled at Casino Royale, only watched the SNL clip because Sinead character was in it and totally did not get Dr to Dr.

Maybe there's no hope for me here.

Dave Chappelle's "Rick James," is a brilliant sketch about relations between movie stars, pop singers, and regular people, all set in the colourful mid 1980''s!

You'd have to watch a single 11-minute episode, with the sound on, while doing nothing else, to understand what's going on there. And since that's never going to happen,

I did those things and it still wasn't funny. Corn dogs as a food group should be funny but.....

No, it's me. My funny glands are atrophied.

If Steve Brule isn't funny, particularly given who the actor is, then yeah, can't help ya.
