Back to when the Wu was making actual rap "music". This one is from the year 2000 so it barely qualifies.
As far as new stuff everyone seems to be into the newish "RedRum" song by a brit rapper which is OK, as well as ghetto bitch (Sexxy Red, the ex-stripper chick whom I forgot her name; edit: oh yeah Cardi B) shit which is amusing.
The Redrum song does have a cool video. I love the blunt pass POV
"Pussy".

Btw, the genre of bands like the above is known as (I didn’t come up with this term) “wiggercore”. I leave you to your own conclusions.
So.. the halftime show. Kendrick Lamar. As stated here before, I do not care for it. However!!
Monday on my drive back to the waterpark while listening to 102 JAMZ (funny note: the drummer of my old band cut the A on a 102 sticker for his car which read “102 JIZ”) a song starts I have not heard. It had a really cool background sound. Dark and wavy.
Then the lyrics kick in. Eh. Eh.. oh here we go. Oh damn he’s talking about drinking and pools and ahh! Cranked it up. Totally digging it as I’m blazing down I-40. Then I hear “Hey Kendrick!” Oh no. Nooooooooo
But I continue to enjoy the song and come to find out it’s a song from 11 years ago. Aha!
And of course the title is.. “Swimming Pools”.

I'm too old to care about rap battles, I hope the kids enjoy it. It's nice to have things. I'm happy for them.
I went to Wikipedia because surely this Drake guy has been charged with a crime by now. Right? That's when I saw that the other guy's real last name is "Duckworth". Jesus Christ. How do you get bullied by someone named that. Making a two second TikTok where you look into the camera, roll your eyes and say, as sarcastically as possible "Okaaaày........ Duckworth" should have ended it.
