Yurr yurr wish I had discovered the Juice WRLD earlier. Wish I'd discovered a few things earlier. Better late than never.

I'm sure I'm out of touch garbage for saying this, but here we go.
My wife and I were using Pandora on this road trip and she used "Lizzo" as the basis of one if the stations. About one out of 5 songs is either the artist screaming the n-word for four minutes or a five minute song where they screech about their vaginas.
Good stuff, should really hold up for generations.

We're not allowed to say that word, the N-word. It calls up demons!

Surfer/Stoner shit from the same late 1990s era:
(before they were big on MTV!! haha)
Quite a few of my friends that were into into rap also digged the ol Green Day. Most likely due to being stoned.
I still recall 1991 or 1992 some dude I'd never seen before rolled into Eastern Vert and had this CD. Everyone was freaking out about it and wanting to know if they could rip a copy.. to which he denied to all but one perhaps. Being a huge Fugazi, Ministry, and Sonic Youth fan at the time my first impression was "Hm, sounds kinda gay." yet it caught on with me eventually.
When "Dookie" was released I hated the videos after the 4th or 5th viewing. Basketcase video was even worse. Thank fuck they didn't make a video of "Burnout". The only time they did that on MTV they were introduced by Iggy Pop.. who imitated Billy Joe's jackoff guitar lick style while smiling and saying "I like this baaand.."

As much as we all made fun of this song, it's still 100% better than anything a Lizzo made.
Every time it comes on the radio I turn it up, put on my stupid Pit Viper rainbow wrap-around shades, and fuggit up.

My jam rn. Kraniums "Sidung." Sidung is a Jamaican compound word that came from two English words put together. Can you guess what words? Sit-down. Good luck on the rest of your translation lol. Just kidding. All in all, the singer has a mild accent.
Anything submitted created after 1998 is ignored by op.

Also, how do all of you get your YouTube videos to show up in your post?
I only know how to post a link.
When I try "media" I get a bunch of 'fail' messages.

Stoned riding to the retro arcade.. flippin thru the channels til I came to 102 JAMz. Cranked the stupid shit up hahaha
I do like the return to the "underground" and "Gangsta Gurl" style lately. Like, if I'm gonna watch wrestling I'd rather it be chicks as far as actual fights.
The general vibe of the song really brought me back to that old feeling of being fucked up in a dangerous and fucked up area and not giving a fuck.

Oh god yeah I could have done without seeing 90% of the "acts" across all musical genres this year!

Seeing Flo Rider and Paul Anka on the same stage ( not at the same time) was surreal

"I came to the fork in the road and went straight."
