which would you rather have? 400 Bucks OR Milov going down like a power window?

Since you have the money I guess the question is rather moot, but anyway...

Well, it was like an hour and a half away. It was a long hike. I don't remember why he didn't have his car that particular evening.
Doug guy -- have you ever seen him socially outside of work
No.
What would make him think that you'd be OK with that?
Well, cuz we were the only two people from our office who were going, and it was like an hour and a half away, and he had no other way of getting there.

Then I guess HE DOESN'T GET TO GO.

I don't care if it were 15 minutes away. Show him this thread. Show him my responses at least. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

"Well, I don't know when I'll be able to get over there...." -- You

"Well, I don't know if that'd be a very good idea, as I can't stand you." -- You

"No." -- You

... I know, I know, it wasn't like that. I understand. He probably never even asked, just invited himself along and/or told you the time he needed to be picked up. It just makes me mad that there are people who will inconveinence others in such an obvious, spiteful way.

I hope he gets fired.

Well, he seems like a nice kid. I like to help people out when I can.

I'm just that kinda guy. You ask me for a ride, any time, from anywhere, and you know you can count on---

Seriously, who knew Asians like to (or even could) shriek like that? I thought they were a quiet, subservient culture. Now it's like MXC everywhere.

Asian females in California are loud and annoying.

ALWAYS bring your douche friend along to hang out with women, because you look like a champ in the comparison.

Any woman, no matter where they're from of where they are, wants to date the WINNER. You will be remembered. Just pass that shit off like it happens to you every week.

But what if they write you off because you're friends with an enormous tool?

I maintain that when I was roommates with that guy "Sparky" it was only going to hurt me if I went out in public with him. It's too bad that Knuckles was driven off the site like so many others because he had some fun things to say about those days.

But my point was, about halfway through the evening, HE was the money one, chattin' up Milov and her hot, shrieking friends, while I was mired in a long, boring, incredibly annoying poker tournament with a bunch of people I didn't know and didn't feel like talking to.

So, really. Which one of us was the douche friend?

I don't have any respect for people who can't drive themselves around. So you're asking the wrong guy. Or the right guy, if the answer you want is that HE is the douche and not you.

But your restraint here is admirable.

By the way, I prefer not to think of it as "running people off the BBS".

I prefer: "vanquishing my enemies".

There's been a lot of that in Robb Sherwin Productions lately. I could use a little less vanquishing.

That makes it sound like you were going to work. How many hours did it take to win the cash? I mean per hour.

400 smackers divided by, say, four hours =100 bucks per hour. Still if you don't want to be there it's work, right?

And, did that make them like him? Because to them, probably, he was some pathetic guy trying desperately to make it with an Asian chick. If he didn't get a phone number, he was universally humored and tolerated.

At first, I didn't think so. But by the end, yeah, I think it was that last thing.
