N.O. vs Air Gradkowski. Because of subconscious issues I'd prefer not to consider, I probably won't call if the Bucs are up at the half, but will call in a fit of self-hatred if they're behind 17-3.

It's good to have someone to talk to on Sundays. It makes me feel that I am not shortening my life with this stupid league (except for this season) that fixes games (probably still happening this season).gsdgsd wrote:N.O. vs Air Gradkowski. Isn't this the last week for byes? It doesn't seem like your team has been given a bye. What the fuggin fugg is that? No wonder you guys have not been playing with as much "pep" as normal. Where's the frigging BYE?!!?!?
Also, I wonder if losing Rod Marinelli has had any effect on things. Listening to him crush words with his neck muscles as he says them leads me to believe that guys would have a natural tendency to slack off a little upon his deparature, unless he was truly an asshole in which case people would perform better because fuck that guy.
Or maybe I do not understand properly how virtually the same Bucs team that won the division last year can be playing like this. That is quite bizarre, all things considered.

I'm amazed that the tactic of dumping six defensive starters from last year has paid dividends. Literally - I got a check for $0.17 on Friday for putting up with the shitty D we had over the last few years.
I like how Mike McKenzie called the defense the "Oreo Defense" because the linebackers are white and everyone on the line and secondary is black. Only Brian Young is white. I guess he got an exemption or something, like how "The Professor" did for the And 1 Streetball team.
