JC Virtual Music
Ok, I have a three minute drum track in .wav format, something I put together in a half hour.
Where do I stick it, so that others may build with it?
I could use my Google Drive and share a folder?

Google Drive works fine! I just downloaded it and listened to it. Sounds spiffy.
Best next layer would be bass. I could maybe do a synth bass track until we get a real one..

Hell yeah. I can dig it man! We should perhaps start using a non-awful-version of Audacity to start piecing stuff together.
If none of you guys want to or feel confortable mixing the tracks I can do it via Garage Band but if we want to keep things free and open-source as far as editing then it's probably gonna have to be Audacity.

I'm using Mixcraft for my DAW so I'm set. I figure if eveyone drops a wav. file here or wherever we can all plug them in together, only in different states

Re: JC Virtual Music
I was able to dust off the recording hardware and remember how to hook everything up, import the tracks and record in audacity. I'm not happy with any of it right now and we're getting ready to travel for xmas. I want to keep working on this.

I got one of those Squier Bass VI’s last year and I might noodle with that. I love this concept, ping ponging WAVs back and forth and creating.

The Jolt Country collaboration band!
This is just a test to see if we can make it all work. I'll put some Commander voice drops in later, probably at the breaks. Anyone that has the time and gear is welcome to jump in

Bump.
How about some random bad movie clips to use as vocals?
I can cut them up and drop them in the mix in strategic places
