The premise of the show is that Will Arnett ("Terry Seattle") is a detective that investigates a homicide with a new partner each week. No that is not the premise, the premise is that BUT the guest star has to IMPROVISE and at the end of the episode guess who the killer was. Is. Whom.

The first episode with Conan O'Brien is almost unfair, Conan knows more about comedy than I know about anything. Kumail Nanjiani is an improv expert and is also very very good at the sort of thing that Murderville is. The episode with Sharon Stone is going to send me down a rabbit hole so I haven't watched that one yet but I did watch the episode with Marshawn Lynch!

On one hand, Lynch is responsible for the most disrespectful play in New Orleans Saints history. It wasn't that 11 guys bounced off him, it was the crotch grab as he went into the end zone. Oh it was also that it was fucking stupid that the Saints, defending champions, had to go play Seattle in Seattle who were 7-9 and won their shit-ass garbage division.

On the other hand, the humiliations were just starting for the Saints in the playoffs and I am really glad we won the Super Bowl because we later lost three playoff games to two teams I fucking hate, the 49ers and the Vikings. Wow this post got away from me. Anyway, Lynch is incredibly likeable, clever, fast-witted and amazing in the second episode, you can't help but like him. Conan's improv performance makes you think, well, I'll never be as good as that guy at anything, Lynch - while not quite understanding "yes, and" - does himself proud, we should live in a world where he is our next comedy action star like Schwarzenegger was.

So far, all three episodes have been a great way to burn off the alcohol I threw into my system and I didn't EVEN get into how great Will Arnett is in this.

(I really like improv and sometimes I think I should do one of them there improv classes, not because I would be good at it but because I bet it would be fun.)

Just 'fine'? That's it? I would expect you to say something like, "It was okay, but I wasn't dying to see it." Or "I think they really killed it."

Be more imaginative, don't just sound like you're all dead inside.
Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.
