I hereby revoke my own privileges as base moderator of this base. The recent influx of extremely obnoxious behavior on the part of certain semi-regulars has made the entire proposition unpleasant and unenjoyable.

Let's hire a new moderator for this base. I suggest Blue. Or Straw. Or JQW. Or Loafergirl. Or some other angry, hostile person who can give it the attention it deserves.

I would like to try starting another thread in which we can actually discuss love and relationships and things like that without having it instantly devolve into a festival of:

1. Calling people maggots and pussies.
2. Off-topic, moronic observations.
3. Weak jokes.
4. The walking undead.

I intended this thread to be that thread, but it was derailed instantly, at the very first reply.

Do any of you think that this is possible at all, and worth me giving it another shot? Or are you all just chomping at the bit to fuck up that one, too?
