Re: All rap made after 1998 sucks
No, that's only Texas. The original flag of the Republic of Texas, which it had to change when it stopped being a country and became a state, was the motto, "Don't Fuck With Texas."
Texas is one of a few states that have both a National Guard and a State Militia. That's several thousand trained soldiers. Plus Texas Rangers. What does the Wu Tang Clan have, 3-4 guys who can spout unintelligible lyrics at a microphone?

See, I can fuck with the Wu Tang Clan any time.

None of this is even remotely correct (or makes any sense.)
I don't have to say anything. I'm a doctor, too.

Ehh that 300 members thing ain’t exactly true but yeah man that’s cool you got to see them. I almost did but didn’t think the venue was legit or it was and would be sold out because rage against the machine was opening and it was at a college concert hall of all things.Billy Mays wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 12:47 pmI am probably one of the few people here who has seen them in concert and it is like 800 people, you only hear about the main members because I guess the credits would be too long to type out anywhere else.
I will say though my friends that went said there was so much weed they could barely remember details of the show. Asked them for the best parts and no one could say shit except Rage put on a good show. I didn’t and still don’t really care for rage.
I remember the last rap show I saw was Pharside (sic?). It bombed because all the white people just wanted to see Korn.

New people were still walking onto stage with mics straight till the very end of the concert, it may not have been 800 people but I stopped counting at around 34 which was still during their first song. To be fair, some of them came onto stage just to stand around like they were hanging out at a friend's house and one guy looked like he came up just to buy some drugs, but it was still a lot of people.Jizaboz wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 11:55 pmEhh that 300 members thing ain’t exactly true but yeah man that’s cool you got to see them.Billy Mays wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 12:47 pmI am probably one of the few people here who has seen them in concert and it is like 800 people, you only hear about the main members because I guess the credits would be too long to type out anywhere else.

Of course it's not correct, silly! Any reasonable person would have known this. Have you never heard of hyperbole? Jesus, and people call me autistic.

To clarify, some "underground" rap since 1999 has always been cool.
If you did or do not dig Reh Dogg then perhaps you did not watch enough Troma movies.

I didn't particularly like that song, possibly because I didn't like her singing. But fast patter songs can be fun. Here's two:

A remake of a R.A.P. that is doubly from after 1998
Do you think it's MAAAYBE just that you care more about the nostalgia for a lost youth than you do about a specific style of music? I mean, NO ONE failed to strum a guitar like the Dead Milkmen but I've made my peace with that.
