I just got Yakuza for the PS2.

But, ah, sure. How much time could this take away from that?
Good point Bobby!

OK, reading this over, I do believe we need 13 people so there cannot be ties for votes. My bad. But we are only three people away! I'll see if anyone on the ifMud wants to play if it looks like the denizens of this place are pretty much accounted for.

Excellent. It's unlikely the gang will come to a 6-6 vote the very first thing, so it should work out OK.

Yes. Which means that ONE PERSON AT THE TABLE (other than the Werewolves) knows that someone is/ain't a werewolf. And that person can join in the discussion (but of course doesn't want to let on that they're the seer, because then the wolves will kill them) and try to steer the pick towards someone at least not known not to be a werewolf.

Ah! Well, that does make a certain amount of sense. I bet there is great fun when the seer is staked by the humans.

I take it that you have to make sure there is no PMming, then, of the seer to the humans?

All right, between Jack, Bugs, Roody, Lex, Gerrit, World of Panda and hygraed I think we can get two more people. Please, please, please! I GUARANTEE you'll have a good time!

I have a Mudmail into Roody, so hopefully we'll be ready to go after that, then (if he is not too busy).

To clarify one rule: the humans can keep testing if they find Things on the second test. They get two tests a "day" and the Things choose a new victim at the conclusion of the day. For instance:

Test #1 - Human revealed
Test #2 - Human revealed
(No more tests that day)

Test #1 - Human Revealed
Test #2 - Thing Revealed
(More tests, so long as the humans keep finding Things.)

Test #1 - Thing Revealed
Test #2 - Human Revealed
(No more tests that day)

Does this mean that if the humans kill the The Thing on the first day, the game is immediately over, since there are no more The Things left?

The first Thing picks a second Thing before the humans get to test anyone. So it is possible, although unlikely, that the humans could guess the identity of the Things right off the bat.

So in other words, when I say "THE GAME HAS BEGUN!" there will already be two Things among you.

I think you should make me one of them. Or whoever ends up being picked first should make me the second one.

But if they did that, the rest of the humans would test you first and reveal you as a Thing. Thus, you'd be dead and out of the game!

(See, I'm already beginning the deceit! I am setting the rest of you up. I will personally win this game.)

... Frozen.

At this research post, that was supposed to be your greatest fear. The sensation of all warmth leaving your body, the biting, unforgiving cold... and then one last, desperate attempt at relieving your bladder all over your person for a final puddle of warmth before frostbite set in.

But you have a greater fear.

Two of you are Things.

Discuss among yourselves who should be the first to be tested. When there is a majority I will perform the test and hand you the results.

THE GAME BEGINS.

Not sure what this means!

I have updated the list of players in the first post, so you know who is all involved with this. If I can't get a hold of Roody tonight I'll put someone else in spot #13.

I vote Bruce. If only because Curry Expert! isn't available.
