I got the idea that Jeff Daniels was gruff. I wish that they had included a few more scene where he was gruff with people!

Donald Glover was awesome in The Martian. I agree that the good parts of The Martian were when Damon was on Mars, but if they had to have a guy on Earth for him to bounce off of, I would have allowed Glover and nobody else.

I sort of left that movie wishing that someone would make another movie like The Martian, but just have it mostly take place on Mars. I should probably buy the book. I am going to go ahead and buy the book.

If The Martian had focused more on Matt Damon dicking around on Mars (which are by far the most interesting/entertaining bits of the movie), it would have been much better.

But it didn't.

So it sucked.

Also whoever wrote the screenplay needs to be taken to Mars and dropped there. Without a word processor.
