Spoiler free, for Mr. Back.
I just got back from the theater about half an hour ago. I took Mason to go see Tron: Legacy with me. Mason just turned nine-years-old, and I was 9 when I first saw the original back in 1982, so, full circle and all that.
The whole ride home, Mason kept telling me how awesome he thought the movie was. I smiled, and I'm glad he liked it, and I liked it as far as dumb entertainment goes, but it certainly didn't change my life like the first one did -- then again, maybe it changed Mason's. Who's to say.
I didn't understand the ending, or at least I didn't understand "why what happened couldn't have happened an hour earlier". And, while dancing around names here, there was one particular bad guy that I didn't understand why he was a bad guy.
Wow, I have a lot of spoilers to talk about. Ben, go see this god damn movie.
